Pakistani forces have reportedly detained a young man named Hasrat Khalil from Tump, Kech, and transferred him to an undisclosed location. No further details have been released about his whereabouts.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) Kech has condemned the enforced disappearance, stating that Balochistan continues to witness systematic “persecution” and “genocide”, with no day passing without incidents of “oppression.”
According to BYC, educated Baloch individuals and teachers are being targeted and killed, while enforced disappearances are on the rise. Reports indicate that since January 2025, nearly 30 cases of enforced disappearances have been recorded across the region.
Meanwhile, a young man identified as Allah Bakhsh s/o Sabzal, a resident of Garamkan, Panjgur, who was allegedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces some time ago, has now been released and reunited with his family.
