Another case of suicide emerged from Khuzdar district of Balochistan as a youth took his own life.
According to reports, a young man, identified as Mohammad Qasim s/o Ghaus Bakhsh Jattak, took his own life by hanging himself in a closed room in Baghbana tehsil of Khuzdar district. Initial investigations by Baghbana Levies suggest that domestic abuse may have contributed to his tragic demise.
This latest incident underscores the alarming rise in suicides in Balochistan. Such incidents are becoming increasingly frequent, with reports emerging almost daily. Experts attribute this distressing trend to a complex interplay of factors, including domestic strife, poverty, mental health issues, and, in some cases, pressure or harassment from security forces.
