Military operations by the Pakistan Army have intensified in various regions of Balochistan, including Bolan and Kech districts. Reports indicate that gunship helicopters have been involved in shelling and explosions across multiple areas.
Since Thursday night, a considerable number of Pakistani troops have been advancing on foot and in vehicles in the Chamalang, Rarah Sham, and Baghao areas, with continuous helicopter flights reported. Local sources informed TBP that many military personnel have reached Chamalang, and helicopter flights are ongoing. Meanwhile, troops are reportedly advancing in the Rarah Sham and Baghao areas.
Sources also claimed that military equipment and personnel have been gathering in Kohlu, although helicopter activity has not yet been observed.
In Bolan, various areas including Khost, Shahrag, Kaman, Buzdar, Tarkri, Jambro, Pur, Chaki Warh, and surrounding regions are allegedly under military operation. Local sources stated that gunship helicopters targeted local homes with shelling yesterday, but no casualties have been reported.
Simultaneously, military operations are ongoing in various areas of the Kech district. According to details, operations are being conducted in the Hoshap, Tijaban, and Gorkop areas of the Kech district. Local sources reported that many military personnel have been seen entering these areas, with checkpoints established at various locations and troops observed entering the mountainous regions.
However, the authorities have released no official statement regarding the operations. Additionally, there have been no reports of arrests or casualties during these operations so far.
It is noteworthy that on August 25-26, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) conducted coordinated attacks under ‘Operation Herof’, targeting Pakistani military personnel, auxiliary forces, police stations, and other military and economic installations across Balochistan.
The most lethal operation was carried out by the BLA’s Majeed Brigade in Bela, where seven ‘fidayeen’ attacked the central headquarters of the Pakistan Army. The attackers managed to hold the headquarters for over 20 hours.
The attack was initiated by a female ‘fidayee’, Mahal Baloch, also known as Zilan Kurd, who drove an explosives-laden vehicle and blew up the front gate of the headquarters. Mahal Baloch is the third female ‘fidayee’ from Balochistan after Shari Baloch and Sumayya Qalandrani, highlighting the significance of this attack.
The BLA claimed responsibility for the deaths of 130 personnel from Pakistani forces, intelligence agencies, and other security forces in this attack.
