Reports from Kech district in Balochistan indicate that Pakistani security forces had surrounded Turbat University, with intelligence agencies conducting a search operation in the women’s hostel.
According to students, the forces questioned them about Mahal Baloch, also known as Zilan Kurd, who was involved in BLA Majeed Brigade’s recent suicide attack on a Pakistani forces camp in Bela. The students reported that their rooms were searched, and inquiries were made about Mahal Baloch’s presence in the hostel and her life.
During the operation, the forces reportedly took several items from Mahal Baloch’s room.
Mahal Baloch, a law student at Turbat University, was from the coastal city of Gwadar. She carried out a suicide attack on a central Pakistani forces camp in Bela as part of the Baloch Liberation Army’s “Operation Herof.”
Meanwhile, the administration at Turbat University has refrained from commenting on the raid and the harassment of students.
