At least four people, including a woman, were killed and five others injured in various incidents and accidents across Balochistan on Saturday.
In the Sunni Gunbadi Katai area of Khuzdar, a speeding car struck and killed a pedestrian identified as Imam Bakhsh.
In a separate incident in Khuzdar, the roof of a madrasa in the Khairhawa area collapsed, resulting in the death of one student and injuries to three others.
Rescue teams and police from the Sadar police station retrieved the students from the debris. One student was pronounced dead at the scene, and the injured were transported to the hospital.
In Nokundi, the body of a man was found in the Chilgami border area. A paper found with the body identified the deceased as Muhammad Hamid s/o Muhammad Tahir, along with an ID card number and a mobile number.
The body was taken to the Rural Health Center in Nokundi for necessary procedures before being handed over to the Nokundi Levies, who later confirmed his identity as a resident of Chaghai.
In Loralai district, unidentified assailants opened fire on a group of beggar women, killing one and injuring two others. The incident took place near Noorani Mosque on Tehsil Road.
Laila, wife of Zubair Khan of the Marwat tribe, was killed instantly. Muhatma Bibi, wife of Tariq of the Marwat tribe, and Gulnar, wife of Muhammad Anwar of the Marwat tribe, were injured. Both injured women are residents of Muhajir Adda.
