The Government of Pakistan on Wednesday imposed a ban on the movement of Chinese citizens without private security and bulletproof conveyance.
Following this decision, many chinese businessmen were confined to hotels without security. On the other hand, the Home Department clarified that within two days, the project, installation of not taking bulletproof vehicles will be closed, bulletproof vehicles should be purchased or rented.
It is to be noted that there have been large-scale attacks on Chinese citizens in different areas in Pakistan and especially Balochistan. The “pro-independence” Baloch armed group, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) Majeed Brigade, has accepted the responsibility of the majority of them. In the recent days, the BLA Majeed Brigade has furthermore intense attacks.
