Three individuals have been reportedly forcibly disappeared allegedly by the Pakistani forces from the Kech district of Balochistan.

According to reports, Pakistani military forces forcibly disappeared a youth identified as Abdul Haq, son of Abdul Hafeez from the Dazan area of Kech’s tehsil Tump on Wednesday.

It’s pertinent to mention that the aforementioned youth’s cousin Asad Baloch, who went missing allegedly at the hands of the Pakistani secretive agencies from Balochistan’s capital city of Quetta on March 18, 2014, remains missing todate.

Meanwhile, Pakistani forces reportedly conducted an early morning raid in the Buleda area of Kech district. They subjected women and children to severe torture and detained two individuals, relocating them to an undisclosed location, sources said.

As per local sources, the forces raided the residence of an individual named Pirbakhsh in the Minaz Mohammad area of Buleda at 4 o’clock on Thursday morning. The two forcibly disappeared individuals have been identified as Nasram, son of Pirbakhsh, and Pazeer, son of Ghani.

The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), an organization advocating for the safe recovery of forcibly disappeared persons, addressed deep concerns over the sudden surge in the cases of missing persons in Balochistan.

According to the VBMP’s data, the number of enforced disappearances in Balochistan has increased alarmingly. Several other rights groups including VBMP blame Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies for enforced disappearances in the region.
