A youth forcibly disappeared from the Kharan district of Balochistan, on Tuesday.

According to reports, Pakistani secret services allegedly detained a student in Kharan, since then his whereabouts remain unknown.

The abductee has been identified as Kashif Ejbadi s/o Inayatullah Ejbadi resident of Nowroz Abad area of Kharan.

Kashif Ejbadi is the grandson of Wadera Abdullah Ejbadi, a well-known businessman in Kharan.

According to sources, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening this week when Pakistani intelligence agencies reportedly chased the young man in multiple vehicles and abducted him near Hafiz Jamal Nasir Madrasah.

Enforced disappearance in Balochistan has become an alarming issue where almost everyday citizens fall victim to enforced disappearances.

Baloch circles, political activists, and international human rights organizations have accused Pakistani forces and its secretive agencies of these serious human rights violations. However, the Pakistan authorities either don’t comment on these incidents or reject the allegations.
