The bodies of Hani Gul and Sameer Baloch, who had been abducted from their residence in Iranshahr, Western Balochistan, were identified by family members. They were discovered in the Sarawan region, and their remains have been placed in the Khaash morgue.

Unidentified armed men in civilian clothing are believed to be behind the abduction. The exact circumstances surrounding their abduction remain unclear.

Hani Gul, known for her human rights activism in Balochistan, had previously claimed that she and her former fiancé, Naseem Baloch, were abducted by Pakistani intelligence agencies. Although Hani was released after alleged torture, Naseem’s current whereabouts remain unknown.

Sameer Baloch was the brother of Abdul Rauf Baloch, a teacher from Turbat in Eastern Balochistan. Abdul Rauf was killed after blasphemy accusations, leading to widespread protests in Turbat. The connection between these events and the couple’s abduction is yet to be determined.
