At least three people including two women were murdered in two separate incidents in Balochistan on Thursday.

According to reports, a man and a woman were killed by her husband and brother-in-law in the name of “honor” in Balochistan’s Mustang district. The police started the search for the victim woman’s husband Khair Jan and his brother.

Accused Khair Jan and his brother reportedly shot and killed Khair Jan’s wife and a man named Bashir Ahmad son of Muhammad Zaman in the name of honor, sources said.

Soon after the incident, Superintendent of Police (SP) Muhammad Rashid Zehri reached the spot and ensured the immediate arrest of the killers. According to SP Rashid, after collecting the evidence from the spot, the bodies were shifted to Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital for post-mortem.

Meanwhile, another woman was killed in the name of honor in Kahan Tehsil of Balochistan’s Kohlu district.
