Pakistan army officer has allegedly tried to sexually assault a 6-year-old boy in Gwadar, the coastal city of Balochistan on Saturday.
According to reports, the 6-year-old boy was sexually harassed by a Pakistan army officer when he had gone bathing in the Dori beach area of Gwadar.
Residents of the area have blocked the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route in protest against the incident, and the protest continues.
It should be mentioned that such incidents have been reported several times in the past in different areas of Balochistan.
Earlier on April 21, 2021, a minor boy named Amir Murad was sexually assaulted and thrown unconscious by Pakistani paramilitary forces (FC) personnel in the Kech district of Balochistan.
The incident rocked the entire Baloch population, and strong protests were recorded in several cities of Balochistan against the incident.
Human rights organizations and Baloch political circles in Balochistan have accused the FC, a paramilitary force deployed in Balochistan of committing human rights violations. Pakistani forces have been accused of kidnapping, enforced disappearances, and extra-judicial killings across Balochistan.
