A dead body of a man was recovered from the Chagai district of Balochistan on Wednesday.

According to reports, the days-old corpse was found in the Dak area of the district and was shifted to the hospital for identification.

According to the Chagai police, a shepherd found the dead body in the wilderness and informed the police about it, after which the police reached the scene and moved the dead body to Chagai hospital. The deceased has been identified as Peeruk s/o Raees Khan.

However, the motives behind the incident are not yet known, while further investigation is being conducted by the police.

It should be noted that several dead bodies have been found across Balochistan in the last few days.

As per reports, over 50,000 people are “missing” from different areas of Balochistan for decades, and many of their mutilated dead bodies had been found throughout the years. Human Rights organizations, Baloch political and social parties, and the families of the victims accuse the Pakistani state and its army of “abducting and killing Baloch people”.
