At least one police official was killed and four others were injured in a blast on Friday in Pakistan’s capital city of Islamabad.
According to Police, the blast happened in the I-10 area of the city. Four policemen were also injured in the attack that rocked the capital city.
The suicide bomber in a taxi blew himself up when police stopped him in the federal capital, police said.
The vehicle also caught fire and flames of fire could be seen from quite far away. Police contingent reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway. The religious militant group Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.
