Pakistani forces reportedly abducted a man from Quetta, the capital of Balochistan. Meanwhile, a protest against the forced disappearance of two youths in Turbat continues for the second day.
According to reports, Pakistani law-enforcement agencies arrested Bozo Khan son of Muhammad Hassan from the Hazar-Ganji area of Quetta and reportedly transferred him to an unknown location. Bozo Khan was a security guard for trucks at the Hazarganji stop, he was on duty when he went missing. Bozo Khan basically belongs to the Shahragh town of the Harnai district, but he has been living in Quetta for several years.
As per sources, the aforementioned person previously forcibly disappeared in 2013 as well but was later released.
Meanwhile, in the Sami area of Turbat, the main highway is closed for the second day in protest against the forced disappearance of two youths allegedly by Pakistani forces. The protest is being held by the victims’ families and residents of the area.
The two young abductees are identified as, first-year student Badir Habib and tenth-grade student Tariq Basheer, who were arrested by the forces on Saturday night and shifted to an unknown location, local sources said.
Once again a surge has been witnessed in enforced disappearances of young people. The cases of the forced disappearance of four youths have been reported from Balochistan and Karachi only this week.
