Three Baloch youths went missing from different areas of the Karachi city of Sindh province, while a dead body of a missing person has been recovered from Hyderabad, Sindh.
On 7th May, a man named Rashid Baloch s/o Taj Baksh, resident of Liyari Karachi has been reportedly disappeared after being detained allegedly by the Pakistani security forces. Pakistan Rangers and other law enforcement forces were in five Vigo cars, who took away the man near his house, sources said.
Rashid’s family expressed concerns over his enforced disappearance. Family reached to the police station and provided initial information to the police.
While, in another incident last week, two young men were allegedly disappeared by Pakistan Rangers and plain cloths personnel, from Marhipur area of Karachi, sources said. The detainees were identified as Ali Baksh s/o Bakshi and Asghar s/o Issa.
“Ali and Asghar are students and they are not affiliated to any political party,” said the family sources. The families demanded to the state officials for the safe recovery of their sons.
Meanwhile, a dead body of a forcibly disappeared person has been recovered from Karachi. The deceased has been identified as Imam Baksh s/o Kaalu Khan.
According to family sources, Imam Baksh was arrested on 28th April, by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel from Sakhar. His dead body was recovered from Hyderabad, on Sunday.
Imam Baksh is a resident of Sibi area of Balochistan.
It is pertinent to mention that thousands of people are reported missing from Balochistan and Sindh, while hundreds of dead bodies of missing persons have been recovered with torture marks on their bodies.
