The railway track was targeted near Bhuria Road late last night when the Green Express Eid special train was about to pass through.

As a result of the blast, the railway track was destroyed up to four feet due to which the movement of trains were stopped during the day, on Wednesday.

A “pro-independence” group from Sindh, the Sindhudesh  Revolutionary  Army (SRA) claimed responsibility for the blast on Wednesday.

According to SRA spokesman, the attack targeted an “Eid Special Train” carrying Pakistani military officials from Karachi to Rawalpindi. “The blast destroyed the railway track leading to Punjab and trains were stopped,” SRA spokesperson Sodho Sindhi said.

Sodho Sindhi concluded that SRA will continue resistance struggle against colonization and colonial projects in Sindh till the independence of Sindh.

In another news from Balochistan, a loud explosion was occurred in Hub Chowki. The blast reportedly targeted Pakistani Coast Guards personnel. The administration has yet to comment over the blast.

Whereas, a Baloch armed group, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for attacking the Coast Guards.

BLA spokesman Jeeyand Baloch said in a statement: “BLA ofighters targeted the personnel stationed at the main gate of the Pakistan Coast Guard camp in Hub city. The grenade attack resulted in injuring two personnel of enemy forces”.

Earlier this week, a roadside bomb near Tariq Hospital on Sariab Road in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, injured two Frontier Corps personnel on Monday morning. The aforementioned attack was also claimed by the BLA.
