According to Nasrullah Baloch, chairperson of VBMP, a delegation of missing persons’ families will meet Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad, on Thursday.
Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) is a campaign group of the families of missing persons that raises voice against the enforced disappearances in Balochistan and for the safe release of the victims.
Earlier in February, a sit-in protest was held by the victim families in Islamabad. Families of the missing persons protested for 10 days on D-Chowk, in front of the PM’s office. They ended the protest on the assurance of meeting the Pakistani Premier in March.
Sammi Deen, daughter of the missing Doctor Deen Muhammad, also confirmed the tomorrow’s meeting with Imran Khan.
According to sources, PM Khan has received brief information over missing persons from the military leadership beforehand meeting the families.
