A series of blasts injured at least 123 people in eastern part of Afghanistan on Monday.
According to details, Bombs targeted mostly public places, as the country was celebrating the 100th anniversary of its independence.
No group has claimed the responsibility for recent bombings. Whereas, IS claimed responsibility for a bomb attack on a wedding reception in the capital, Kabul, on Saturday in which 63 people were killed and hundreds wounded.
President Ashraf Ghani, in his speech on Independence Day vowed to eliminate IS from the country and he called on the international community to stand with Afghanistan.
The United States also wants a Taliban commitment on power-sharing talks with Afghan government and a ceasefire but Taliban has been refusing to talk to the government.
U.S. President Donald Trump is hoping to withdraw all U.S. troops from Afghanistan before the 2020 presidential elections.
Taliban stated on Independence Day that they are looking forward to the withdrawal of all foreign forces.
