Pakistani forces were attacked in Mand area if Balochistan on Saturday
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Pakistani paramilitary forces, Frontier Corps(FC) was attacked earlier today in Mand area of district Kech.
“Forces vehicle was targeted with an IED which resulted in killing one and injuring 4 more FC personnel”, official sources confirmed.
According to sources, the deceased and injured have been moved to Turbat by helicopter.
Whereas the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) a Baloch militant group has claimed the responsibility of the attack.
BLF spokesperson, Gohram Baloch claimed that 5 forces personnel were killed 6 others were injured in the attack.
Kech is a volatile district of Balochistan where skirmishes between Pakistani forces and Baloch militants are a common occurrence. Military operations in the area are also routine in which hundreds of enforced disappearance cases have been reported.
As per unconfirmed reports, after the attack forces have started an operation in the area and several persons have been abducted.
Whereas in another news, Baloch Republican Organization (BRA), a Baloch militant group has claimed the responsibility of a hand grenade attack on FC in Noshki area of Balochistan.
Sarbaz Baloch, spokesperson for BRA ina a statement today said, “BRA fighters attacked a picket of FC head quarters with a hand grenade in Anam Bosan area of Noshki on 29 November which resulted in killing one FC personnel and injuring 4 others.”
