BNM terms of killing of a youth and abduction of 11 others by security forces in Noshki on Friday as state terrorism.
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, Baloch National Movement (BNM), the largest pro-freedom party in of Balochistan, in a statement on Saturday, termed the killing of a youth named Nizam s/o Peer Mohammad Sasoli and enforced disappearance of 11 others from Noshki by Pakistan forces an act of state terrorism.
Earlier on Friday Pakistani forces claimed that 11 men were arrested during a military operation in ‘Zangi Navadh’ area of Noshki district. Security forces also confirmed that a person was also killed in the cross fire.
The body of the deceased was brought to a local hospital. He was later identified as Nizam s/o Peer Muhammad Sasoli, a resident of Parod town of Kalat district.
BNM spokesman said that ‘no Baloch is safe in Balochistan, Pakistani forces can persecute them anytime and anywhere, by accusing them as terrorists”.
“Even after claiming the arrests in media, the 11 people are still disappeared and we are afraid that alike past cases, after years of detention, they would also be found dead”, he added.
BNM spokesperson further stated that, ‘during Musharaf’s martial law, Baloch people were released after intense tortures in detention, in Asif Zardari’s PPP government we used to receive mutilated dead bodies then in PMLN and Dr Malik’e government we started discovering mass graves, intense military operations and fake encounters. Now the Imran Khan and Jam Kamal’s governments have also continued the same policies’.
