Two security personnel have been killed in an attack on an outpost near Shahrag town of Harnai district.
According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, two security personnel were killed when armed men attacked the outpost in ‘Safar Baash’ area in Shahrag town on Monday morning.
The attack was carried out early in the morning, and the attackers managed to escape after the attack.
Baloch Liberation Army(An armed pro-independence organization active in Balochistan) claimed the responisibility of the attack.
Talking to media, Jeehand Baloch, the spokesperson of BLA, claimed that they had attacked the Frontier Corp’s outpost in Safar Baash area of Shahrag early in the morning, and killed two personnel.
He further said that their fight for an ‘Independent Balochistan’ will continue.
This was the third consecutive attack on security forces in the time period of a week in Harnai district. Previous attacks were carried out in Khosht and Shahrag areas of Harnai district — at least 5 personnel were killed in the attacks.
All the attacks were claimed by Baloch Liberation Army.
In other news, Balochistan Liberation Front, another armed pro-independence organization, claimed that BLF fighters carried out a rocket attack on a military camp in Kolwah on 25 August 2018.
Gohram Baloch, the spokesperson of BLF, claimed that they had attacked army camp in Kolwah town with rockets, which landed inside the camp causing casualties.
