Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has said that two of its fighters have died in a battle with Pakistani forces in Kech.

According to the details received by the Balochistan Post, a clash had erupted yesterday between militants and Pakistan army, when they encountered each other in ‘Shah aap Kaor’ area of Kech district.

There were reports of at least two people being killed in the incident.

Today, in a phone call to the media houses, Gohram Baloch, spokesperson of BLF said that the fighters who were killed in the combat with Pakistan army were members of BLF.

“Two freedom fighters of BLF Naqibullah aka Nazar s/o Rasool Bux and Waleed aka Qazi s/o Mussa Baloch embraced martyrdom after courageously fighting against the occupying forces,” said Gohram Baloch.

He claimed that scores of Pakistani army personnel were killed and injured in cross firing.

Kech district is situated adjacent to Iran and it is one of the most volatile districts in Balochistan, where Baloch armed groups have waged a war against Pakistani state for ‘independence’.
