Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has warned that attacks on Chinese nationals will be further intensified if China does not withdraw its engineers from Balochistan on immediate basis.

In a latest statement released to media, BLA’s spokesperson Jeehand Baloch took responsibility for the suicide attack on Chinese engineers in Dalbandin, that was carried out earlier today.

Jeehand Baloch said that attack in Dalbandin on bus carrying Chinese Engineers was carried out by a ‘fidayeen’ member of Baloch Liberation Army.

According to The Balochistan Post correspondent, a suicide attacker had targeted a bus carrying foreign engineers and other employees of Saindak project in Dalbandin city of Chaghi district on Saturday.

The bus targeted in the attack was carrying Chinese engineers from Dalbandin airport to Saindak copper project, a joint venture between Pakistan and China to extract gold, copper and silver from an area close to the Iranian border.

The suicide attack was carried out 3km west to Dalbandin city, near Degree College.

‘Rehaan Baloch, a member of BLA’s Majeed Birgade, detonated his explosive laden vehicle near the convoy of Chinese engineers,’ Jeehand Baloch said in the statement.

Jeeahdn Baloch added that we have time and again warned that plundering Baloch resources is a moral and legal crime because Baloch nation is currently a victim of exploitation and occupation by a foreign intruder.

BLA’s spokesperson asked for immediate removal of Chinese engineers from Balochistan and said: ‘without Baloch nation’s consent, the exploration of Baloch resources will not be tolerated in any case. With this attack, we want to warn China once again to stop plundering Baloch resources and remove their engineers and infrastructure from Balochistan on immediate basis.’

Jeehand Baloch also threatened attacks against on China’s multibillion dollar project CPEC all other related projects and said that these projects ‘are not acceptable to Baloch’.

‘If China doesn’t withdraw from such exploitative projects, then they will not be safe from our attacks, threatened Jeehand Baloch.

Jeehand Baloch said that their attacks for the protection of Balochistan’s natural resources and ‘restoration of a secular Baloch nation state’ will further intensify.
