Unknown armed robbers took away Rs 5 million from a private bank in Noshki.
According to details received by The Balochistan Post, armed robbers barged into a bank in Noshki and took away Rs 5 million from a private bank on Wednesday.
According to official sources, armed bandits entered the Habib Bank and took away Rs 5 million from the bank staff on gunpoint.
The robbers also snatched weapons of the bank security guards before fleeing the scene.
A passerby, identified as Ghulam Qadir Barech, was injured during the robbery.
Security forces including police, Levies force and Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan personnel reached the site and cordoned off the area for investigations.
The news was received with shock around the city as such events are a rarity in Noshki town.
