Pakistani security forces are carrying out a large-scale military offensive in various areas of Sibbi.
According to details received by The Balochistan Post (TBP), Pakistani forces initiated a fresh offensive in many areas of Sibi, including Karmo Wadh, Talli Daman, and Kalgari early on Tuesday morning.
The ground forces are aided with aerial support in form of gunship helicopters, reports coming from the area have suggested.
According to TBP correspondent, there are also reports of gunships helicopters shelling various areas, however, details of such developments are yet to be received.
Raids by security forces have considerably increased in Balochistan in last few months. Analysts believe this is due to upcoming general elections, which the Baloch pro-freedom groups and organisations have announced to boycott. Attacks by Baloch armed groups have also surged in last few months in the region.
