At least 12 people have been ‘abducted’ from different areas of Balochistan within a short span of 24 hours.
The term abducted is widely used in Balochistan to connote arrests made by security forces as the arrested are not presented before court of law and instead kept in military camps.
Abductions in Khuzdar:
According to The Balochistan Post (TBP) correspondent, two brothers went missing when they were on their way from Mashk Norgama to Archini in district Khuzdar.
The missing persons have been identified as Ubaidullah and Sher Ahmed.
According to local sources they were taken away by civilian clothed armed men in vehicles that are used by security forces.
‘Their mobile phones, motorbike and other belongings were thrown near Archini, which confirms it is not the work of robbers,’ said a local from the area.

According to campaign groups, thousands of Baloch have been ‘disappeared’ by security forces in last two decades from different areas of Balochistan.
Baloch National Movement, a political party that documents human rights violations in Balochistan, had claimed that at least 115 people were arrested at the hands of Pakistani security forces, whereas, 23 were killed just in the month of April.
How long the Pakistani wild hounds would be given full mandate to wipeout the entire populations of Balochistan from the surface of their fatherland? Is this act not considered a general act of genocide in the eyes of ICCJ & a challenge to the Charter of UNO & principles of human rights as guaranteed by UNO charter? How long EU & entire Democratic World remain as Silent Spectators to general massacre of millions of oppressed people of Balochistan? Does it not add a black chapter to their glorious past history of struggle for Freedom of humanity & restoration of Peace and tranquillity in the world? JKBALOCH.
