Two personnel of Pakistani forces were killed by unknown gunmen in Dasht area of Turbat, on Wednesday.

According to reports, unknown armed persons attacked Pakistani forces in Dasht area of Turbat. At least two personnel were killed on the spot whereas many others sustained injuries.

Turbat, a major city of Balochistan, has continuously been a battlefield in the war between Baloch armed groups and Pakistani forces. Restive Turbat region which lies near multi billion dollor CPEC route has seen many similar attacks on Pakistani forces in past too.

No immediate claim of this attack by any group has been reported at the time of filing this report.

However, Baloch armed groups have continuously targeted Pakistani forces deployed for the security of CPEC project in last few months.
