Pakistani forces have seized Lateef Johar’s ancestral home in Kolwah, Balochistan.
According to reports, Pakistani forces raided Mr. Johar’s home in Kolwah yesterday. His parents, who lived in the house, fled to safety and are living in open without any shelter.
Mr. Johar in a tweet claimed that his house has been “occupied” by Pakistani forces. He also alleged that his house has been converted into a military checkpoint now.

Mr. Johar, who is now based in Toronot Canada, shot to fame when he sat on hunger strike in front of Karachi place club for 46 days. The hunger strike was against the abduction of then chairman of BSO-Azad, Zahid Baloch. Mr. Johar is also a senior leader of BSO-Azad.
The raid on Mr. Johar’s house has widely been condemned by Baloch organisations. BSO-Azad’s chairperson Karima Baloch tweeted:
Pakistan Army has displaced @LateefJohar's family from their ancestral home and camped in it. This is how Pakistan army celebrate 14Aug.
