The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) said on Tuesday that its newly formed female armed unit carried out its first operation near Turbat, attacking a Pakistani military convoy on the CPEC highway.
BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said fighters from the Karima Armed Assault Division (KAAD) ambushed a convoy of the Pakistani military’s Action Task Force at Jusak.
He described the attack as “multi-pronged”, claiming several Pakistani military personnel were killed and wounded at the scene and that military vehicles were damaged.
The BLF said the attack marked the “first armed action” carried out by the Karima Armed Assault Division.
Major Gwahram Baloch said the group would shortly issue a detailed statement on the operation, the casualties and material losses it claimed to have inflicted, and the military objectives of KAAD.
