Reports of seven additional alleged enforced disappearance cases have emerged from several districts of Balochistan, involving a minor boy, a singer, labourers, a fisherman and a driver.

According to reports received by local sources, the individuals were allegedly detained by Pakistani security forces and intelligence personnel during separate operations before subsequently being disappeared.

In one case, 23-year-old Javed Baloch, son of Qadir Bakhsh and a resident of Awaran, was reportedly detained by Military Intelligence (MI) personnel at the Dhoor checkpoint in Gwadar on the evening of 29 April 2026. Sources said he worked as a bus driver and vehicle owner.

Separately, 20-year-old Khalil Karim was reportedly taken into custody from the Chah Sar area of Turbat, in Kech District, at around 10am on 30 April 2026 before allegedly being disappeared. He is said to belong to the Buleda Minaz area and is known locally as a singer.

Meanwhile, in the Panwan area of Jiwani in Gwadar District, Frontier Corps (FC) and MI personnel allegedly conducted raids on homes during the night of 19 April 2026 and detained three individuals who were later reportedly disappeared.

The missing individuals were identified as 14-year-old Dilshad Dad, driver Ali Fazal, and 19-year-old fisherman Sohail Karim.

In addition, two alleged enforced disappearance cases from November 2025 were reported from the Shah Salar area of Chagai District.

According to reports, 24-year-old labourer Abdul Haq Shehzad was allegedly detained and disappeared by Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel. Another man, 30-year-old Majid, a resident of Killi Haji Mohammad in Chagai, was reportedly taken into custody by FC and CTD personnel before allegedly being disappeared.

Human rights organisations have repeatedly raised concerns over reports of enforced disappearances in Balochistan. Pakistani authorities have previously denied involvement in many such cases.
