Three Baloch men, including a father and son, have reportedly been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces in Balochistan’s Dera Bugti district.
According to local sources, Dad Mohammad Bugti and his son, Rahzan Bugti, were detained during a raid on their home and taken to an undisclosed location on Sunday.
In a separate incident the same day, another man, identified as Reesho, son of Khan Mohammad Bugti, was also allegedly forcibly disappeared from his home.
All three men remain missing. Family members have called for their immediate release and demanded that they be presented in a court of law.
These incidents mark the third reported case of enforced disappearance in Dera Bugti within a 24-hour period.
Balochistan has witnessed a sharp rise in enforced disappearances and alleged extrajudicial killings in recent years.
Families of the disappeared have repeatedly demanded that if their relatives are in custody, they should be produced before the courts.
However, rights groups and local activists say detainees are often held incommunicado for extended periods and, in some cases, later killed in alleged staged encounters.
