A murder suspect, Naeemullah Logri, allegedly committed suicide in the washroom of the jail at Quetta’s Khaliq Shaheed police station.
According to reports, Naeemullah was booked under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) and detained as a proclaimed offender in FIR No. 250/24. Following the incident, authorities were notified, and the police initiated an investigation, recording statements from all relevant officers.
To determine the precise cause of death, a post-mortem examination will be conducted as part of further legal proceedings.
It is worth noting that suicide cases in Balochistan have been on the rise, with many incidents going unreported due to communication barriers and societal norms.
