The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) said it carried out 302 attacks in 2024, including ten “special operations” and six “Fidayeen” (self-sacrificer) missions. According to the group, these operations resulted in the deaths of more than 545 “enemy army personnel,” with at least 378 others wounded.

In its annual report, titled “Dhak – 2024,” the BLA said it targeted Pakistani forces, military installations, and alleged “collaborators” throughout Balochistan. It claimed 37 individuals accused of aiding state activities were “neutralized,” including those the group stated were sentenced to death by the “Baloch National Court” after allegedly confessing to their crimes.

The BLA report further alleged that its fighters inflicted heavy material losses on Pakistani forces in 173 of the 302 operations. The group claimed these attacks damaged vehicles, motorcycles, railway tracks, bridges, surveillance drones, gas pipelines, and mineral-carrying trucks.

According to the group, the Majeed Brigade carried out six operations, capturing several military installations in Bolan, Gwadar, Turbat, and Bela. It said the “Fidayeen” targeted and occupied the Mach military headquarters during “Operation Darra-e-Bolan.”

Under “Operation ZirPahazag,” it claimed to have attacked and captured offices of Pakistani intelligence agencies in Gwadar and the Pakistani Naval Air Base in Turbat. The group said “Operation Herof” targeted and seized the Bela headquarters. It also claimed to have attacked Chinese interests in Karachi and Pakistani army officers in Quetta.

The BLA added that its special squads—the Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS) and Fateh Squad—carried out four operations in Quetta, Kalat, and Noshki. It said these squads arrested Pakistani intelligence personnel in intelligence-based operations and captured multiple army camps in Kalat.

The group added that it set up 25 blockades on major highways, captured 15 camps belonging to what it described as “occupying forces,” and arrested 55 “agents” during the year. A large quantity of arms and ammunition was allegedly seized from Pakistani forces.

According to the report, 52 BLA fighters were “martyred” in 2024, including 37 members of the Majeed Brigade who took part in “Fidayeen” operations. The group concluded by stating it would continue targeting “enemy forces, their partners, and agents” until what it described as the complete withdrawal of Pakistani forces from Balochistan.
