Lala Wahab Baloch, the Deputy Organizer of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), who was arrested along with others during a protest at Karachi Press Club, has been acquitted by the court.
According to Sammi Deen, a leader of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP), Lala Wahab Baloch, along with Attaullah Baloch, Saif Baloch, Babul Baloch, and Aftab Baloch, was arrested during a protest and taken to a police station. Later, they were taken to an undisclosed location and brought back to the station late at night.
Sammi Deen stated that they were presented before a magistrate this morning, where the lawyer argued that the police had filed false charges against Lala Wahab and his fellow protesters and had subjected peaceful demonstrators to violence and arrests. Following the court proceedings, all charges were dropped, and the arrested individuals were released.
