The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a Baloch ‘pro-independence’ armed group, has claimed responsibility for killing an alleged Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent in Balochistan’s Turbat.
In a statement released to the media, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said their fighters killed an ‘agent’ of the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI at Gwadar Stop in Turbat on Saturday.
The alleged agent was identified as Irshad s/o Gul Muhammad, a resident of Sindh. The BLA spokesperson claimed that Irshad was working undercover for the ISI in Turbat.
The spokesperson emphasized that this attack is part of their campaign against what they describe as the “occupying” Pakistani military and its collaborators, asserting that such attacks will continue.
