The Famiyl of a missing person blocked Zero Point Highway in the Pasni area of Balochistan in protest against the illegal detention of the youth.
The family of Bahadur Bashir, who was forcibly disappeared from Pasni, along with the residents of the area, blocked the coastal highway in Pasni at Zero Point on Monday morning.
Family sources said that Bahadur Bashir was forcibly detained by Pakistani security forces. They stated that the protest would continue until the safe recovery of Bahadur Bashir.
Bahadur Bashir, a student at Karachi University, was allegedly detained by Pakistani forces. He was reportedly taken into custody and moved to an unknown location one day earlier. The youth was detained upon his return to his hometown, where he had come to celebrate the Eid holidays in Pasni.
Meanwhile, a sit-in protest has been ongoing for two weeks at the main gate of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Turbat district headquarters, demanding the recovery of missing persons.
