The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has issued a cautionary advisory to its donors, urging them to verify the recipient’s account before making any donations. The committee emphasized the importance of ensuring that the donations are being made to the movement’s official account and not to a fraudulent one.

The BYC has established a special committee responsible for collecting donations from local and foreign Baloch nationals. These funds will be utilized to meet the basic needs of the Long March, BYC said.

The group had previously launched official donation appeals on its social media accounts. However, these accounts were subsequently banned. As a result, BYC advised potential donors to confirm with the committee’s finance team before making any donations to prevent funds from being diverted to inaccessible or fraudulent accounts.

Amna Baloch, the organizer of the BYC’s Karachi zone, addressed the Baloch nation in a video message. She advised those wishing to support the BYC’s mission through donations to first contact the BYC via its official social media contacts. She emphasized the importance of ensuring that donations are being sent to individuals who are genuinely part of the BYC’s finance team and not fraudsters.
