At least four children have reportedly died due to the measles epidemic in the Zhob district of Balochistan.
According to the reports, 4 children died due to the measles outbreak in theMeena Bazar area of Zhob, while according to analysts there is a possibility that the epidemic will further spread in the area.
The residents of the area have demanded the health department take immediate measures in this regard. According to the health department, the aforementioned area has refused vaccination in the past and the vaccination teams have been dispatched to the affected area.
There have been frequent cases reported of a large number of children affected by measles from several areas of Balochistan.
Social circles lamented that there are no health facilities in Balochistan and common diseases like measles are easily treated anywhere but in Balochistan.
