At least eleven people including students and a transgender person were injured in two separate incidents of knife attacks in Balochistan’s capital Quetta on Wednesday.
According to reports, Noor, a transgender, was stabbed with a knife by his friend outside the NADRA office in Quetta. The injured victim was shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment, sources said.
In another similar incident, ten students of a private school were injured after unidentified men stabbed them with knives in Quetta’s Nawan Killi area on Wednesday.
According to police, ten students received injuries and were rushed to the civil hospital Quetta. The accused attacked the students with knives. Police confirmed that the accused fled after the incident.
Meanwhile, police lodged a case against the unidentified accused on the complaint of one of the students’ father.
