Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) media channel ‘Hakkal’ released the annual report of its armed activities in Balochistan on Tuesday, detailing all the attacks the group carried out against the Pakistani security forces.
According to the report, the group carried out 188 attacks that killed 364 soldiers of Pakistani forces and wounded over 155.
BLA’s annual magazine, published under the name of “Dhak” (translated as ‘blow’), contains special pages about Majeed Brigade’s “Operation Ganjal” and the group’s first female sucide bomber, Shari Baloch, who carried out the attacks targeting Chinese nationals in the Karachi University. The magazine also includes a page regarding BLA’s Special Tactical Operations Squad (STOS).
According to the BLA report, 35 of its fighters were “martyred” last year, while three suicide attacks were also carried out.
The report further adds that 116 explosions were carried out during its operations; 46 vehicles and mobile towers were destroyed; and two military camps were captured.
It is pertinent to add that suicide attacks were carried out in Panjgur, Noshki and Karachi. In two simultaneous attacks on FC camps in Panjgur and Noshki, the Majeed Brigade maintained control of the camps for three days and killed over 150 Pakistani soldiers.
According to additional reports, BLA killed 14 facilitators of the Pakistank forces, injured 13 others and captured 4 alive.
The captured individuals included a colonel of the Pakistan Army, who was captured by the BLA along with an associate from Ziarat area of Balochistan and later killed, while the other two personnel were detained in Harnai.
“Last year, the BLA carried out nine special operations, in which two helicopters, a drone were shot down, while in one operation, the weapons of the forces were confiscated,” read the report.
