The accused fled after killing his sister and a man in the name of honour.

According to details, Azmat Khan shot dead his 18-year-old sister Khurshid Bibi and her alleged acquaintance 22-year-old Abdul Samad in the name of honour in a village of Tambo Tehsil, Naseerabad District and escaped from the scene.

Police shifted the bodies of the victims to Dera Murad Jamali Divisional Hospital and handed over the bodies to their heirs after taking necessary actions.

It is to mention that in last 24 hours, four people have been killed in two incidents of honour killing in Balochistan. Yesterday, unidentified armed men killed two persons including a woman in the name of honour in Loni sub-division of Dukki and managed to escape.

According to Levies officials, the male victim was identified as Murad Mohammad, while the woman could not be identified.

The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Dukki and handed over to heirs after necessary procedure. Levies filed a report and began an investigation.

According to political and social circles, people are often targeted in the name of honor in personal enmity while the administration seems to have failed to prevent such incidents. Local circles demand that the administration should prevent the loss of human lives in the name of honour and also spread awareness among people.
