Pakistani forces allegedly disappeared a man from Mashkay last week, family has revealed.

According to the detail received by the Balochistan Post, Pakistani forces disappeared a man who had come to see his sister in Mashkay town of Awaran district.

The missing man was identified as Khuda Bakhsh s/o Maola Bakhsh, a resident of ‘Raghay’ town.

The family of missing Khuda Bakhsh confirmed that he had come to visit his sister in ‘Miyani Kalat’ town of Mashkay but Pakistani forces picked him from the house saying that they will release him soon but he is still missing.

Family urged the higher authorities for the safe release of Khuda Bakhsh.

Balochistan is plagued by the enforced disappearances of Baloch youth and activists. Recently instances of ‘women and children abductions’ have also been reported. Many of the missing persons have also been killed and dumped.

International campaign groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International accuse Pakistani security forces as the perpetrators of ‘illegal abductions in Balochistan’.
