Ten men were injured in a road accident, four critically , in Qila Saifullah on Sunday

According to the details received by The Balochistan Post, Ten persons were injured when a Rikshaw collided with a passenger van on ‘Bandat MirZai’ road in Qila Saifullah.

The injured were later taken to the nearby hospital, where four were declared to be in critical condition.

TBP received the identification of the injured as Sher Zaman, Safar Uddin, Asfandyar, Imran and Niaz Ullah, all residents of Zhob district, whereas, Noor ullah, Samad and Taj Muhammad residents of Qila Saifullah district and Muhammad Akhtar, another injured man, hailed from Kuchlak town near Quetta.

Road accidents are a common occurrence in Balochistan due to outdated roads. The national highways have not been upgraded for decades and the high number of inadequate dual carriageways have also proved fatal for the increasing traffic.
