The bodies of six of seven non-local men abducted earlier this week in Balochistan’s Kech district were found with bullet wounds on Thursday, police said.
On Tuesday, unidentified armed men blocked the Turbat-Mand Road in the Kalatuk area of Kech district and took away the seven men, who were travelling in a vehicle.
One of them was shot dead shortly after the abduction, while the remaining six were taken to an undisclosed location.
Police said the six bodies recovered from Nasirabad had been identified as those of the remaining abducted men. All had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Four of the deceased were from Punjab and two from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, officials said, adding that an investigation into the killings was underway.
No group had claimed responsibility for the incident at the time of publication.
