The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) has claimed responsibility for an attack that reportedly damaged a bridge on a main highway in the Dera Murad Jamali area of Naseerabad. The route connects Balochistan with Sindh.
In a statement issued to the media, BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch said the group had used explosives to target the bridge, causing severe damage.
According to reports, traffic on the route was disrupted following the explosion.
The group said such operations would continue “until the independence of Balochistan”.
Pakistani authorities had not issued an official statement regarding the reported attack at the time of publication.
