An Anti-Terrorism Court in Quetta has declared 12 individuals, including Dr Sabiha Baloch, Gulzar Dost Baloch, and Dr Shalee Baloch, as proclaimed offenders in connection with a case registered under various sections of Pakistani law.
According to a public notice issued by the court, the individuals were summoned in relation to case number 96/25 and First Information Report (FIR) number 67/2025. The court had directed the accused to appear on 7 March 2026 to present their defence.
The notice stated that the case includes charges under several provisions of the Pakistan Penal Code, including Sections 153-A, 186, 436, 341, 353, 427, 505, and 324, as well as Section 7-A of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
The court instructed the named individuals to appear before it on the specified date and present their position; otherwise, further legal action may be taken in accordance with the law.
Among those listed, Dr Sabiha Baloch is a member of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC). Gulzar Dost Baloch is described as the convener of Turbat Civil Society, while Dr Shalee Baloch is known as a central organiser of the Baloch Women Forum.
According to sources, several other individuals named in the notice are also described as political and social activists. BYC and other rights groups have previously described these cases as politically motivated and bogus against the rights activists for raising their voices against human rights violations in Balochistan.
