Three bodies have been recovered in separate incidents in the districts of Kech and Panjgur in Balochistan, while relatives of one of the victims staged a protest in Turbat by blocking a major highway.
According to police, the bullet-riddled body of a man identified as Sharif, son of Changez, was recovered from the Hoshap area of Turbat and moved to a hospital. Local sources said the victim had allegedly been abducted a day earlier by unidentified armed men on motorcycles before being shot dead.
Following the incident, relatives of the deceased staged a sit-in protest by placing the body on the Gwadar–Turbat–Quetta highway, blocking traffic in both directions. As a result, long queues of vehicles were reported on both sides of the road.
Meanwhile, in Panjgur, the body of another man was recovered from the Rakshan River. Local sources identified the deceased as Shah Jahan, son of Rehmatullah, a resident of Kalat.
In a separate incident the same day, police and local sources reported the recovery of the body of a young man near the Washaap Bridge area of Panjgur. The victim was identified as Zameer, son of Nasir Dagarzai. According to reports, Zameer had allegedly been abducted by unidentified individuals on 3 March and had remained missing until his body was discovered several days later.
Local sources said Zameer’s family had previously experienced similar incidents. His father, Nasir Dagarzai, was reportedly abducted in 2011 and later killed after being taken again in July of the same year.
Reports indicate that multiple bodies have been recovered in Panjgur district over the past two months. According to a local report, at least 22 bodies of individuals have been found in different locations during this period, with some reportedly having previously been missing.
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) condemned the recent killings in Panjgur, stating that enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings and targeted attacks continue to be reported in the region.
There was no immediate official statement from authorities regarding the incidents or the allegations surrounding them.
