Renowned young Balochi-language poet Majeed Ajiz reportedly passed away on Friday morning after suffering a heart attack in Muscat, Oman, according to confirmation from a close friend.
Majeed Ajiz, who hailed from Balicha, Tump, was widely regarded as one of the most popular voices among the younger generation of Balochi poets. Despite a relatively short literary career, he established a strong artistic identity, with his poetry widely shared and recited across social media platforms and within literary gatherings. His work earned him a growing following and positioned him as an influential emerging figure in contemporary Balochi literature.
