Several people were killed in separate shootings and road accidents across Balochistan, police and local sources said.
Police said a man identified as Abdullah Marri was shot dead on Karak Road in Sibbi in a dispute linked to an old rivalry. The body was taken to the hospital.
In Kech district, a motorcyclist, Zareef son of Roshan, died after a tractor hit his motorcycle at Buleda Cross while he was travelling from Turbat to Hoshab, police said. His body was later handed to relatives.
Two young men were killed in Bolan when a passenger coach struck their motorcycle near Getani Bridge on the N-65 highway, according to local sources. The victims were identified as Samiullah and Imtiaz.
Two people were injured in Nushki when two motorcycles collided due to overspeeding, police said.
In Chagai district, ten Afghan nationals and a local driver were killed when an oil tanker and a Zamyad vehicle collided near the Reko Diq project site in Nokundi. Six others were injured. Hospital staff said the condition of three of the injured was critical.
Four people were also killed in Nushki in an exchange of gunfire between two groups over a dispute involving a rented shop, local sources said. The dead included three brothers — Babu Alam Khan, Beebarg Khan and Zulqarnain — and Suhail Ahmed from the opposing side.
Relatives of the three brothers later blocked the Nushki–Quetta–Taftan highway in protest, demanding the arrest of those responsible.
