One man has reportedly been subjected to enforced disappearance in Kech district of Balochistan, while another who had been missing for several weeks has been presented in court by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).

According to local sources, Pakistan military forces conducted a raid on a residence in Minaz, a locality in the Bulaida tehsil of Kech, on the night of 16 November. During the operation, personnel entered the home of Haji Akbar and allegedly detained his son, Mehran Baloch, who has since been reported missing.

Eyewitnesses and family members stated that the personnel entered the house late at night, confined the occupants to a single room, and took Mehran Baloch into custody after reportedly subjecting him to physical assault. He was then transferred to an undisclosed location, and his whereabouts remain unknown, the family said.

In a separate development, another man previously reported as forcibly disappeared, Jahanzeb Baloch, reappeared after 52 days. He was presented before an anti-terrorism court by the Counter-Terrorism Department.

Following the hearing, the court ordered that Jahanzeb Baloch be remanded to CTD custody for an additional 10 days to allow further investigation.
